  • Translation from Spanish to English of non-fiction texts.*
  • Translation from Basque to English of non-fiction texts.*

I obtained my certification in Literary Translation from Cálamo & Cran School, and I have over three years of solid experience translating non-fiction and hybrid texts, both from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish. I invite you to explore my translation portfolio here.

Writing:

  • Creating reading reports that encompass literary and commercial analysis of manuscripts or books written in English, Spanish, Basque, and Catalan.
  • Writing both fiction and non-fiction texts.*

I have completed various courses in creative writing at Escuela de Escritores and have extensive experience in academic writing as well as writing for non-academic publications. You can explore my writing portfolio here.

Additionally, I received training in writing Reading Reports at Escuela Cursiva of Penguin Random House, which I applied in my role as an editorial reader at Ediciones Paralelo, completing more than 50 reports over a year.

Editing:

  • Line editing for texts written in Spanish.
  • Developmental and structural editing for texts written in Spanish.

During my Master's program in Editing at Pompeu Fabra University, I took courses in orthotypographic and stylistic editing. My experience as a reader and a scholar of literature and humanities has enabled me to develop the skill of recognising the quality of a text and improving it in terms of vocabulary, content, and structure. I have applied this knowledge while assisting the chief editor of Stillpoint Magazine in editorial meetings.

[*] My areas of specialisation and interest within non-fiction include psychoanalysis, queer theory, feminism, decoloniality, literary studies, and autobiographical genres such as memoir, autobiography, and autotheory.
